As a Tal-Kultura volunteer, you will participate in various events and activities organised by Valletta 2018 in a number of ways, ranging from welcoming and guiding visitors to communications and production, among others. You will become a symbol of Maltese and European culture, transferring the values and content of Valletta 2018 through an approach of active citizenship and civic pride. The title of European Capital of Culture is one that Malta as a nation shall wear with pride and, as a volunteer, you have the opportunity to play an active role in Valletta 2018. As a Tal-Kultura volunteer you will not only be part of the Valletta 2018 Cultural Programme – the year-long programme of events and activities which are taking place during 2018 – but you will also have the opportunity to meet new and exciting people and acquire unique and transferrable skills and knowledge, becoming a champion of Maltese culture whose legacy will live on for years to follow.
